Worship Volunteers
God prepares his people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up. At Holy Cross we encourage the participation of our members in the worship service in a variety of ways to the benefit and building up of the whole congregation. Elders read the scriptures, ushers assist the congregation, acolytes light candles, children's message leaders teach the children in the service, soloists sing, musicians enhance our worship with their talents, and greeters make people feel welcome at the door. These are just some of the ways volunteers participate in our worship.
