Helping Hands

Need some help? Our Holy Cross Helping Hands Ministry (HHM) can make arrangements to provide meals, babysitting, transportation, snow removal, lawn mowing, shopping and/or helping with miscellaneous errands on a temporary basis.

Senior Advocate Ministry
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.” (Romans 12:1)
The Senior Advocate Ministry is devoted in brotherly love to assist elderly congregational members and their families facing the challenges of aging. We do this by:
- Helping them access community-based and institutional services
- Encouraging aging from a biblical perspective
- Maintaining their dignity
- Exercising Christ-like compassion
A group of Senior Advocates has completed training and each is prepared to be assigned to an elderly member as the need arises.
Please call Kay Hilt through the church office, 483-4218, for more information if you are interested in taking the next training or if yoiu know someone who might benefit from this ministry. Referrals may be made by the pastoral staff, Stephen Ministers, families, or friends. Self-referrals will also be accepted.
